This day was an extra special day to me!
It was the first day I got to hangout with Isaac since I came home from Belize! I planned a day where we could go see indian caves, and swim at the lake! I did my research and was very proud of my planned out adventure!
sooo, our first destination was the Chumash Indian Caves located in the Los Padres National Forest, by Santa Barbara.
It was a little weird getting here though, because its located in a neighborhood.
It was so fun for Isaac because when he was younger him and his friends would play cowboys and indians! woohoo!
If you ever get a chance to go here check out the roster! Look for Ivy and Skitch! Thats mine and Isaac's adventure code names!
The picture below is a fantastic bridge we crossed on our way to Lake Cachuma. Unfortunately, I didn't research correctly, and the lake is used as drinking water. So, as you might have guessed, we weren't allowed to swim in it. However, this architectural beauty along highway 154 was a nice find. The entire drive was very scenic and relaxing. But not the best if you get car sick easily.
Our spot on the beach for the day. Located in Summerland just below Lookout Park. Pretty nice beach, and pretty secluded. Not a party beach in the least. Also, if you walk north of Lookout Park on the beach, you can find this cool wall of carvings/wall art. We liked it so much that we pitched camp there for the day. Isaac made us some shade and we hung out there for the afternoon.
